The Chronicles by Ayo Lawrence – 14

As I think back on the goodness of God, I remember the words of‭‭ King David – ‘Those who sow in tears. Shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, Bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, Bringing his sheaves with him.’

I have come to a full understanding that WORRY is indeed like a rocking chair, that gives us something to do, but it gets one nowhere.

Worrying is carrying tomorrow’s load with today’s strength – carrying two days at once – omg. It is moving into tomorrow ahead of time. Really, worry doesn’t empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its joy and strength – hmmmm

Conversing with my dear friend Tanish from Jamaica on our way from the Library, we concluded amidst loud laughter that worry makes us feel good with ourselves, a ‘proud feeling’ that we are doing something, a secret thought that people around us will look at us as ‘serious souls’ – can you imagine!!!

Then, we concluded with big smiles on our faces that God can be trusted. What an encouragement this is – He remains faithful.

Ours is to keep LIVING-LOVING-LAUGHING-allowing our praises to Him
to resound continuously as we do our bit on our journey to THRIVING.💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼
